Forgotten Veterans, Invisible Memorials: How American Women Commemorated the Great War, 1917-1945 is now being sold in the online store of the National WWI Museum and Memorial, located in Kansas City, Missouri. According to its mission statement, the National WWI Museum and Memorial is America’s leading institution “dedicated to remembering, interpreting and understanding the Great War and its enduring impact on the global community.” A significant portion of the research for Forgotten Veterans, Invisible Memorials came from this museum’s rich archival and material culture collections.
