On November 12, 2025, the Manuscript Division of the Library of Congress hosted Dr. Finkelstein for a webinar in honor of Veterans Day focused on her book, Forgotten Veterans, Invisible Memorials: How American Women Commemorated the Great War, 1917-1945. The webinar was featured as part of the library’s ongoing “Made at the Library” series, which highlights work inspired by and emerging from research at the Library of Congress.
During the webinar, Manuscript Division historians Elizabeth A. Novara and Sherri Sheu led a lively discussion that highlighted some of the many sources from the Library of Congress’s collections used in researching and writing Forgotten Veterans, Invisible Memorials.
